Drying Flowers: Enjoy them as long as you can, once the petals start to turn they will need to be taken off the stems and laid out on paper towels, newspapers or in a cardboard box. If you have roses, you will need to take the whole bud off the stem and separate the petals (do not leave the rose bud whole, it will mold in the middle) and if you have carnations, take a scissors and clip the colored part only off. Any other flower will work and should come off the stems easily. 

Do NOT put the flowers in any plastic (bag, Ziploc, etc) at any time. 

You can put the petals on paper towels or newspaper and roll them up to mail.
